Started in the early part of 1960s by missionaries of The Gospel Mission to Uganda our purpose is to serve this generation and give them the best possible training and mentoring so that they are well equipped for God’s purpose.

With four programmes offered in a central location in Makerere, about five kilometers from Kampala city center, we are the academic engine of the College. Glad Tidings Bible College is a source of limitless growth prospects for intellectual acumen for both our faculty, in and out of the classroom, and for our students.
Our curriculum offers four accredited programmes of study, Certificate in Christian Ministry, Diploma in Christian Ministry, Diploma in Bible and Theology with Education and Diploma in Christian Counseling. A student who qualifies from any of the above programmes is vastly equipped for church ministry and leadership in any church ministry. The mission of Academic Affairs is to propagate, advance and support excellence at every level of academic life in the College, including faculty recruitment, training, retention, curriculum supervision, research as well as admissions and graduation.

This program is designed to introduce students to key theological disciplines of Bible studies, Spiritual Leadership, Church History, Counselling and Christian Ministry.
The Diploma in Christian Ministry is primarily set up for part-time students. It has a requirement of 64 credit hours which means it can be completed in 2 years on a part-time basis.
Diploma in Christian Counseling (DCC) gives you an in depth study of models and theories of counseling practice integrated with biblical principles for effective applications.
